Suitable for those with a Learning Disability
Dates and times: Wednesdays 2.30 - 3.30pm. February 6th - 13th March
Cost: £5 per session (£30 for the course)
Six 1 hour experiential workshops based on the 5 senses.
Participants are taught to use a series of different tools and techniques to relax and self-soothe which can effectively promote overall wellbeing.
Week 1 The 5 Senses: An Effective Route to Relaxation and Wellbeing
Week 2 Smell: Perhaps the Most Powerful Way to Relax
Week 3 Touch: A Bodily Connection to Wellbeing
Week 4 Hearing: Effective and Portable Relaxation
Week 5 Sight: An Easily Accessible Route to Wellbeing
Week 6 Taste: Group as well as Solo Relaxation
Each session is complete in and of itself. Participants will learn new techniques in every session. If participants attend all of the sessions they will begin to develop a comfortable familiarity with these routes to relaxation and will be able to creatively design their own methods of relaxation.

Trinity Community Project and the Friendship Scheme will be holding 2 free gym sessions in March.
if you're new to fitness or want to get back into the gym, come along for a little group motivation.

Come and have fun with Sarah for 3 sessions and learn to cook some fun healthy snacks. We will talk about the importance of food choices and help you make some changes that will help you to be healthier and give you more energy!

Free open day event for all. An opportunity to meet the staff and volunteers and find out what goes on in the day centre and how much we have changed over the past 32 years!
If you do not currently attend the day centre and have support needs, it's important that you bring somebody to support you on the day.
We welcome, staff, friends and relatives of those who already attend.
